Calling all motorcyclists
in St. Barnabas
I
wonder how many bikers there are in our church.
Are you one? If so, would you be
interested in getting together with other church members for some rides out in
the oncoming summer? The idea is to get
a few of us getting together, initially for some short or half day rides to
places of interest? For the more serious
riders, we could later consider a weekend of riding in
If
this is of interest to you, please contact me, Martin Ace, on 020 8345 5128 or
07 949 535 443 between 10am and 11pm or email me at martin@martinace.com
Hey guys, I presume that you’ve all heard of how St. B’s are
looking to change the format away from Home Groups (aka Barnabas Groups) to
Missional Communities? Well how about a
Bikers Missional Community? Seriously
folks, just getting together for occasional rides and possibly inviting other
biker buddies to join us too, may be an opportunity to be ambassadors for
Christ?
We are:
Record of rides
1st ride -
Date: Monday 5th
April
Time: 10:00am
for 10:30am departure.
RV – St.
Barnabas church
Easter Monday,
5th April
Destination: A
pub for lunch on the A507. Gavin
suggested riding the A507. This is a
national speed limit road, with few side roads, and some great tight turns and
good stretches to blow the cobwebs (and the poor spiders) well off your
toy. As this is a popular run with
bikers, do expect a police presence to be there, seen or covert. You are completely responsible for your own
riding. Let’s have fun whilst
keeping safe guys.
